How does my Security System work?

When the system is armed, each zone has the ability to detect a breach. Once a zone is violated, the alarm goes off and waits for a few seconds for you to press the deactivation code. If this does not happen, the alarm goes off and alerts the Signal Reception Center by phone.

Are there separate ways of arming the Security System?

There are two main ways:

• Armed Away: All perimeter and indoor detectors sound an alarm if activated. For example, when no one is in the area and all the detectors are on.

• Armed Stay: For example, when no one is in the area and all the detectors are on. For example, when someone is inside but you want the Security System to check the doors and windows for possible tampering.
